Fault Finding

A breaker that keeps tripping, a circuit that has gone dead, lights that flicker under load: these all have a traceable cause. We isolate the affected circuit, test systematically and identify the actual fault rather than replacing parts until the symptom disappears.

Once the cause is confirmed we will explain what we found, what it will take to put right, and whether anything else on the installation is likely to give you the same trouble soon.

Where a fault points to something wider — deteriorating cabling, water ingress, an overloaded circuit — we will tell you honestly instead of selling you a repair that will fail again.
